January 8th - Dallas to Baton Rouge
Welcome to the Louisiana Bayou! We left Dallas and drove to Shreveport before heading southeast to Lafayette and St. Martinville. Darkness and an intense storm cut short our trip and we headed to Baton Rouge for the night.
Couldn't pass up this sign that we saw next to the service road for one
of the many natural gas processing plants that are all over the
Louisiana bayou.
